Accessibility

We can be hard to find if you've not been to us before! And as a semi-rural location, accessibility and facilities at our site is limited. This page has all the information you might need, please read carefully.

Getting up to the Workshop

Once at the entrance to Bridge Farm (under the M32 - please be careful if crossing the road as it can be busy), you will see a large painted sign saying 'Bridge Farm' and another with 'Bristol Tree Craft'. Follow the driveway gently uphill into an unevenly cobbled courtyard, which turns into a gravel pathway. Follow this, passing to the right of the glass-fronted barn ahead of you and follow a track uphill (marked on the picture above in RED.) Some sections of this path are moderately steep, but there is a handrail for assistance. Our workshop is situated 120m up the track - you will see a large green tent and a 'Welcome!' sign, which means you've found us!

We are aware of the accessibility limitations of our site, and are doing what we can to make our programmes, courses and events accessible to everyone. If you have any concerns about whether our workshop suits your needs, we encourage you to get in touch with us. We are more than happy to discuss your specific requirements and/or to arrange a site visit if you'd like to assess the suitability of the site.

Rest assured that once you reach our workshop, you'll find a comfortable, indoor space that is heated in winter and protected from weather conditions.

Toilet Facilities

There are flushing toilets located at the bottom of the hill, on your right just before the gravel track becomes a path. There are also basic standing and sitting urinals at the top of the hill, a short distance from our workshop. However, please note that there is currently no accessible toilet available. Please bear with us whilst we are working on improving our facilities.

Cars/Bikes/Buses:

Cars.
Please do NOT drive up into Bridge Farm
. Parking is free and usually available on Averay Road opposite the farm entrance (marked in
PURPLE on the map above). You can also park on the adjoining road directly under the M32.

Bikes.
There is a bike rack where you can lock bikes in the cobbled courtyard, on your right as you enter, just before you reach the toilets. Please be aware Bridge Farm is an open facility, and Bristol Tree Craft cannot guarantee bike security (though there have never been any problems).

Buses.
There is a bus stop located near the entrance to Bridge Farm (marked in
BLUE on the map above). You can plan your bus journey here.

We appreciate your understanding as we strive to create a more inclusive and accessible experience for all. Your feedback/suggestions are welcomed in our ongoing efforts to improve accessibility. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to
