“A fantastic day of spoon carving with a lovely bunch of people.
Hugh was an excellent host, gave clear instructions as well as imparting his knowledge and experience.
Thoroughly recommend a this and great to know this is also going to support the great work being done locally.”

Such a great spoon carving course. Ben and Hugh are great teachers and you leave the day with a handmade spoon, full of tea, shared lunch, good conversation and new knowledge to take away and start making your own.
The cost of the course also goes to supporting the other work that they do which is a great thing to know. Highly recommend!!

I would recommend this day to anyone and everyone. A chance to sit and learn something new with like-minded people in a surprisingly beautiful spot.
Our instructor, Hugh, was brilliant. Passionate about every aspect of the craft, including the safety. He created an amazing atmosphere where we all looked at a chunk of freshly hewn cherry wood and believed that we could turn it into a spoon of our own!
I enjoyed my whole day and I am so proud of my spoon. I would go back anytime to axe and whittle away at wood to make something new and precious to me. Maybe a bowl to mix things in with my spoon?
