Are you a craftsperson?

We at Bristol Tree Craft are looking to expand our lovely team of traditional craft facilitators for 2026!

We run a range of free-to-access, nature-based programmes using traditional crafts to support mental health & wellbeing. Next year, we are looking to expand the range of crafts we offer.

We particularly welcome expressions of interest from craftspeople who are women & non-binary, BPOC, LGBTQIA+ and/or disabled to help us shape the future of Bristol's community craft landscape and mental health provision.

You'd be working on a freelance basis as part of a supportive team with a caring work culture, who would support you to deliver craft sessions (of approx. 2hrs) to groups of:

- Adults in recovery from substance addiction
- Young refugees/people seeking asylum
- The general public as part of our Community Sundays (basically mini craft day festivals 😌)

We're especially looking for metalworkers, leatherworkers, natural ceramicists and felters/knitters, but are open to ideas, be it candle-making, bookbinding or stonecarving!
