Spoon Carving

This full day workshop will give you everything you need to turn a log into a beautiful, usable cooking spoon to take home with you!

You will make your spoon from locally sourced green (fresh) wood using an axe and two types of carving knife, which you will be taught to use safely and effectively. The course is suitable for both complete beginners and those who’ve made spoons before and would like to hone their skills and develop their designs.

Suitable for ages 18+.

Bowl Carving

Start with a stump, end with a bowl!

Come and carve your very own unique bowl from a log using an axe, drawknife and various gouges. This a full day workshop.

This course is more physically demanding than carving a spoon, so would serve as a natural progression for those who have done some carving before. However keen first timers are always welcome!

Suitable for ages 18+.
